This program is offered by psychiatric nurses.
Services available :
- Ongoing evaluation of mental health and its treatment/counselling.
- Education on the diagnostic, the medication and on healthy lifestyle.
- Follow-up on the symptoms of mental illness and supervision of the psychiatric medication.
- Education on the justification and the improvement on taking medicine.
- Supervising the side effects of the medication.
- Close cooperation and establishment of a common treatment plan with the attending psychiatrist, the pharmacist, the family physician and other health care partners.
- Active involvement of family members or close relations.
- Educate the family members or close relations on the symptoms of the illness.
- Injection clinic: administration of intramuscular injections and close monitoring for the compliance of the treatment.
- Adult clients and specialized program for the elderly with mental health illness.
