In 2010, the Hawkesbury & District General Hospital Foundation will celebrate its 23rd anniversary.
It has taken a great deal of determination, passion and commitment to make us what we are today.
Our donors, our volunteers and our personnel share our mission, vision and passion.
The unshakeable support offered to us by the community over the past few years has motivated us to pursue our mission. It drives us to redouble our efforts. Above all, it compels us to work together with you, to achieve the objectives set forth in the Foundation fundraising activities.
We can all take pride in the achievements of our great hospital, as well as the leadership we intend to continue to exercise within our Foundation. All this would be impossible without our volunteers and our staff.
The Foundation will continue its solicitations by raising funds for the purchase of equipment and the improvement project of your hospital. At only 2 million dollars from our financial objective, we are close to reaching a common goal…a hospital that will better meet your needs.
More than ever, on the eve of our 23rd anniversary, the Foundation can count on the support of men and women across the region of Hawkesbury and it surroundings.
Their dedication helps us grow a little more every day, ensuring a better healthcare system for our clients.
After all, these are our children, the adults of tomorrow, and they deserve the very best.

A graduate of Ottawa University into Business Administration joined the Foundation’s board of directors in 2005 and became Chairman of the board in June 2009.
