At the Family Birthing Center, the birth of a child is a unique experience. In a warm and friendly atmosphere, caring qualified staff will offer support to future parents through labour and postpartum.
The Center offers you:
- Spacious birthing rooms with therapeutic baths or showers;
- Breakfast available for spouse or coaching partner who can stay in the room overnight;
- Possibility to have a 2nd coaching partner during labor (at the physician's discretion).
Other services offered:
- Breast feeding support program;
- Obstetrical clinic for antenatal care and education;
- Personalized support during your stay;
- Partnership with the Eastern Ontario Health Unit (EOHU) and the Centre local des services communautaires (CLSC) for home follow-up;
- End of pregnancy Prenatal course . The bilingual course is given one Saturday per month, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost: $70 per couple. Visiting hours at the Family Birthing Center:
During the day, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and in the evening, from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Limit of 2 visitors per patient.
